While the Electricity Corporation of New Zealand Limited (ECNZ) has largely 
completed its contractual and statutory duties, there remain two commercial y 
confidential matters that need to be resolved. Shareholding Ministers have 
requested officials to address these matters before ECNZ can be formal y wound 
up.

A final date for the winding up of ECNZ has not yet been determined.

and ECNZ's directors regarding the winding up of ECNZ 
 
I believe that this part of your request is more closely connected to the functions 
of the Minister for State Owned Enterprises. Accordingly, I have decided under 
section 14(b)(i ) of the Act to transfer this part of your request to Hon Simeon 
Brown, as the Minister for State Owned Enterprises.  
 
The Minister for State Owned Enterprises has 20 working days from receipt of 
this transfer to decide on your request.
