I am writing concerning Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) request of 16 October 2025 which 
asks for: 
 
Since  19  September  2024,  has  Mr  Peters  met  with  Juliet  Moses  or  any  other 
representatives of the New Zealand Jewish Council, and if so, on what occasions? 
 
Please  provide  al   instances  of  communications  between  Peters  in  his  capacity  as 
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade and Moses and other representatives of the New 
Zealand  Jewish  Council.  These  should  be  delivered  in  their  original  form,  not  as 
summaries. 
 
Under the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA), I request al  advice, meeting notes and 
communications  (emails,  text  messages,  Whatsapp,  Teams  messages)  regarding 
meetings held with the representatives of the NZ Jewish Council since 7 October 2023. 
 
This  letter  is  to  advise  that  we  wil   need  to  extend  the  time  limit  for  responding  to  you  by 
10 working  days,  to  28  November  2025.  This  is  because  responding  to  your  request 
necessitates review of a large quantity of information, and meeting the original time limit would 
unreasonably interfere with the operations of the Ministry (section 15A(1)(a) of the OIA refers). 
 
However, if this process is completed before 28 November 2025, the response wil  be sent to 
you as soon as possible. 
 
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of this decision by 
contacting www.ombudsman.parliament.nz or freephone 0800 802 602.
