Thank you for your request for information about the Asylum Seekers Support Trust (ASST) 
which was received by the Department of Internal Affairs (the Department) on 6 October 
2025.  
You have requested the fol owing: 
A copy of the current constitution/statutes of the Asylum Seekers Support Trust (ASST). I 
am making this request as a beneficiary, donor, and former board member of the said 
organization, which grants me a legitimate and direct interest. 
I request that you provide me with a full and updated copy of the ASST’s 
constitution/statutes, or, if unavailable, access to the official document registered with 
Charities Services. 
In response to your request, I can advise that the legal name for the above trust is Aotearoa 
Refugee Support Trust and trading name is Asylum Seekers Support Trust (ASST).

search function, then select ‘Charity Documents’.
