Thank you for your email of 25 September 2025 to the Ministry of Education (the Ministry) 
requesting the following information:  
Please provide all correspondence between the Ministry of Education and Naenae College 
regarding the new enrolment scheme for Naenae College, including emails, letters, meeting 
notes, memos, and any other forms of communication. 

Thank you also for your clarification of 6 October 2025, as follows: 
 
Timeframe: January 2025 onwards 
 
Specified individuals: All correspondence between the Ministry of Education and the 
following Naenae College Senior Leadership Team members: 

•  Chris Taylor (Christopher Andrew Taylor) 
•  Jane Hambidge (Jane Anne Hambidge) 
•  Katherine Stokes (Katherine Mary Stokes) 
•  Alex Maehe (Alexander Maehe) 
And correspondence between the Ministry of Education and the Naenae College Board of 
Trustees. 

Your request has been considered under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act).  
The Ministry needs to extend the timeframe for responding to your request, pursuant to section 
15A(1)(b) of the Act, as consultations necessary to make a decision on the request are such that a 
proper response cannot reasonably be made within the original time limit. You can now expect to 
receive a response to your request on or before 18 November 2025, which is an extension of 10 
working days.
