Thank you for your email
of 25 September 2025 requesting the following information under the Official
Information Act 1982 (the Act):
How many heavy vehicles have passed through Tairua (Waikato) on SH25 On each of these 12
dates between 8am and 5pm Using data col ated from your ANMPR camera on the intersection
of SH25 and Pepe road

Unfortunately, NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) does not own or operate the camera located
at the intersection of State Highway 25 (SH25) and Pepe Road in Tairua, Waikato.
To assist with your request, we consulted Thames-Coromandel District Council to determine whether
they own or hold any relevant information from the camera. The Council has confirmed that the camera
is not owned and operated by them. It is community-managed by the Tairua Information Centre, with
operational support provided by Nautech Electronics.

As NZTA does not hold the information you requested, and there is no reason to believe it is held by or
