Re: Official Information Act Request – Our Reference 2015/188
Thank you for your letter received by Capital and Coast District Health Board (CCDHB) on 14 October
2015, in which under the Official Information Act 1982 you requested information relating to
prospective male-to-female sexual reassignment surgery providers.
After discussions with both the Endocrine Service and the Surgical Services it has been identified that
CCDHB does not hold information on prospective male-to-female sexual reassignment surgery
providers. This includes correspondence with prospective providers, assessments of providers or
correspondence with other DHBs or specialists.
You have a right to seek a review, under section 28(3) of the Official Information Act, by way of a
complaint to the Ombudsman, about the information that has been provided to you.
