Dear Teresa and Karen,
I hope you are both well and looking forward to what will be a well-deserved break?
I’m just emailing you to ask if there is a possibility of setting up a time in the new year (late Jan?) to have a
discussion on the current MPI / AVCM thinking in and around the use of hemp for animal use (as per attached
notification).
We are continuing to get an array of industry and people looking to get testing done on products that they are
wanting to submit for AVCM approval, and we would really appreciate some advice from you about how best to
look to approach any analytical testing that we undertake, and whether or not the results form this will ever meet
your requirements. I’d really like to get a better sense of what your evaluation / approval processes are at how the
testing methodology fits (or doesn’t fit) within the regulatory framework.
If you can please let me know a time that suits that would be great.
