I request all reports and appendices provided to the Ministry of Education as part of the 
independent quality assurance of the rewrite of the New Zealand Curriculum English and 
Mathematics learning areas, and reports or commentary on Te Mataiaho or the science of 
learning. 
 
We received your request on 31 August 2025. 
 
We will endeavour to respond as soon as possible, and in any event no later than 26 September 2025, 
being 20 working days after the day your request was received. If we are unable to respond to your 
request by then, we will notify you of an extension of that timeframe.
