Official Information Act request: communications regarding FBI 
 
Thank you for your Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) request, received on 29 August 
2025. You requested: 
 
“Please provide all information between yourself and Judith Col ins, Mark Mitchel  
and Winston Peters from 21 July 2025 to 8 August 2025 regarding the FBI. 
 
When I say all information, this includes but is not limited too emails, text 
messages, meeting minutes, memories and summaries held in heads, reports, 
briefings. 
 
When I say between yourself and the other individuals, this includes you and 
each person individually (one on one) as wel  as collectively (you and more than 
one other person). This also refers to both your office and their offices.” 
 
Searches have been completed of our Information Management Systems, and key staff in 
this office asked for any relevant recollections or information. No information has been 
identified relevant to your request.  
 
Accordingly, your request is refused in full under section 18(e) of the Act, in that the 
information requested does not exist.  
 
You have the right to ask the Ombudsman to investigate and review my decision under 
section 28(3) of the Act.
