I will respond advising that Council are aware of the local Iwi position, however as the proposal is to stop a portion of Crown Land
administered by the Department of Conservation, any concerns over ownership of the subject land should be addressed to the
Department of Conservation in the first instance rather than Council.

As discussed, I believe the attached letter received from Rongo-U Iwi refers to the proposed vesting of 340m2 of Crown land in TCDC
as road to legalise the formed road access to 1076 Colville Road.
Can you please discuss this matter with DoC (who I understand have been consulting with Iwi on the applicant's behalf) to determine
a way forward.
