Re: Team Structure and Salary 
 
Thank you for your request dated 11 August 2025, for information related to the Official 
Information team and Animal Compliance team. 
The specific details of your request and our response are below. 
I would like to know which department your official information team sit in - what is 
the team structure and the salaries of those in that team. 
 
I would also like to know the salaries of those working in the dog compliance team. 
 
Auckland Council’s Official Information Business Partners sit within our Customer 
Resolutions department. Dog compliance activities are undertaken in varying capacities by 
kaimahi in our Animal Management department.  
 
A spreadsheet titled ‘8140016864_Animal mgmt +Cust. Res position 
structure_11.08.2025’ is attached and contains the organisational structure of Auckland 
Council’s Customer Resolution and Animal Management departments, including pay bands 
for each role.  
Please note that these departments do not exclusively perform functions relating to dog 
compliance and official information. There may be roles within these departments which 
partially or exclusively pertain to the areas specified in your response, as well as roles which 
do not relate to these areas.  
 
Auckland Council’s current salary bands (as of 1 September 2024 – 31 August 2025) are
