Thank you for your email on 6 August 2025, asking Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora for the 
following under the Of icial Information Act 1982 (the OIA):  
Please provide me with a copy of the latest version of Health New Zealand's Chronic 
Pancreatitis Management Clinical Guidelines document.  If this not a blanket/national policy 
document then please provide me with a copy of the latest version aforementioned relative 
to Waikato Hospital. 
Response 
Waikato does not have a locally developed guideline on pancreatitis management. This information 
does not exist, therefore, section 18(e) of the OIA applies to your request. 
Staff have access to the Lippincott Procedures, which directs them to the Chronic Pancreatitis 
Management guidelines in UpToDate: Chronic pancreatitis: Management - UpToDate
