Thank you for your Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) request, received on 30 July 2025. 
You requested: 
 
“…to view any emails or briefings related to Fale Andrew Lesā to this office? I am 
unsure whether the Prime Minister is aware of this issue. If not, I hope my OIA request 
would bring attention to your office about this important matter.” 
 
This office does not hold any information relevant to your request. We believe some material 
may be held by the Associate Minister of Justice, Hon Nicole McKee and, ordinarily, we 
would transfer your request to her for response under section 14 of the Act. As you have 
already sent your request to her, however, we instead refer you to her response. 
 
You have the right to ask the Ombudsman to investigate and review my decision under 
section 28(3) of the Act.
