Thank you for your request made under the Official Information Act, transferred to the 
Treasury on 19 August 2025. You requested: 
 
3. Source of Funds: For the total capital identified in question 1, please provide a 
breakdown of its source from the Crown's perspective. For example: a. What 
amount or percentage was funded from general taxation or a specific Vote 
appropriation? b. What amount or percentage was funded through government 
borrowing (i.e., added to the national debt)?  
 
I have decided under section 15A of the Official Information Act to extend the time limit 
for  deciding  on  your request  by  an  additional  15  working  days.  The  new  due  date for 
responding to your request is 7 October 2025. 
  
The extension is required because of the consultation needed to make a decision on 
your request. This includes consulting with Te Tari Whakatau on its response to 
“question 1”, which I understand is yet to be provided to you and is due by 26 
September 2025. 
  
This extension will also apply to the time limit for transferring your request, should this 
become relevant. 
 
Notwithstanding  this  extension,  I  undertake  to  decide  on  your  request  as  soon  as 
reasonably practicable. 
 
You have the right to ask the Ombudsman to investigate and review this decision.
