I refer to your request received on 24 July 2025, which has been considered under the Official
Information Act 1982 (OIA). You requested the following information:

As per the stocktake, there are currently 15 boards with a total of 94 ministerial
appointed members. Could you please provide the following information:
The name of each board.
Are there any boards with member terms that have expired this year or are set to
expire by the end of 2025?
If so, please provide the name of the board(s) and the number of members whose
terms have expired.
Information provided
The information you have requested was largely provided to you in the Ministry’s response of
31 July 2025 to your request for information on upcoming board appointments (reference
DOIA25-063). Details were provided on 14 boards.
Remaining information
The Ministry’s response to DOIA25-063 did not include the Chief Advisor Mātauranga Matariki
role. The term of the Chief Advisor Mātauranga Matariki role expires and will be considered in
2025.
