Thank you for your email of 23 July 2025 requesting information relating to public sector 
boards administered by the Ministry of Primary Industries and ministerial appointed 
members. 
 
The Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) wil  not be able to respond within the timeframe set 
out in the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) in accordance with section 15A(1)(a) as your 
request is for a large quantity of information and meeting the normal 20-working-day time 
limit would unreasonably interfere with the operations of MPI. 
 
The Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) wil  not be able to respond within the timeframe set 
out in the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) in accordance with sections 15A(1)(a). This is 
because your request necessitates a search through a large quantity of information 
necessary to make a decision on your request are such that a proper response cannot 
reasonably be made within the normal 20-working-day time limit. 
 
MPI wil  reply to your request by no later than 3 September 2025, earlier if possible. 
 
Should you have any concerns with this extension, I would encourage you to raise these with

are advised of your right to also raise any concerns with the Office of the Ombudsman.
