Thank you for your request made via email dated 21 July 2025 in which you requested the 
following: 
In light of recent news and I understand from one of my previous OIA act request that Fale 
Andrew Lesā is one of your CAC member

May I kindly request your most current CAC member list as of 21 July 2025, and if Fale Andrew 
Lesā is not your current CAC member, when does he resign. I request to view his resignation 
letter. 
Also, in light with the news, I would like requesting all documents and information you hold 
pertaining to the appointment of Fale Andrew Lesā to the CAC. 
Information already released 
On 25 July 2025, we released the following information to you by letter: 
Fale Lesa is no longer an active CAC member, we received his resignation on 29 January 2025, 
and he confirmed his last day would be Monday 3 February 2025.  
On the REA website you will find a list of our current CAC panel members, click here. If you 
scroll halfway down the page, you will find a heading ‘CAC panel members’ and there is a drop 
down menu with all our current members.  
Further information being released 
We have made a decision to release the additional documents captured by your request to 
you, subject to withholding certain information under the withholding grounds outlined below. 
The information released to you is enclosed. 
Information not being released 
Where information has been redacted it has been withheld under: 
  section 9(2)(a) of the OIA because the withholding of information is required to protect 
the privacy of natural persons; 
We have also withhold one entire document pursuant to section 9(2)(a) of the OIA.
