accordance with sections 75 and 76 of the Real Estate Agents Act 2008 (Act).
Your appointment is effective from XXX.
As a CAC appointee, you will be assigned to a committee. When you are assigned
to a committee, you will be notified of your role for that committee. Your
remuneration will depend on your role within the committee. There are three roles
within a committee: Chairperson, Deputy Chairperson and member. CAC panel

Deputy Chairpersons receive $64.37 per hour, to a maximum of $515.00 per day
and Chairpersons receive $83.69, to a maximum of $669.50 per day.
This is a Board appointment for a period of five years as set out in the Act.
As a CAC appointee, the REA COVID-19 Vaccination Policy will apply to your
appointment. The policy was prepared following a risk assessment and consultation
with staff and CAC appointees. This policy provides that in order to protect the
health and safety of REA workers, including Board and CAC Members, and those
we engage with from COVID-19 transmission or illness in the workplace, and for
business continuity reasons, all REA workers, Board Members and CAC appointees
are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Please read the COVID-19
Vaccination Policy attached. Please provide evidence of your vaccination status to
Liz O’Connor. If you have any questions about this policy or wish to discuss its
application, please speak with of our Head of People and Capability, Andrew Bulled
(

Appointment to the CAC panel is subject to further certain terms and conditions,
which can be found in schedule 1 attached to this letter.
Please sign the attached form agreeing to the Terms of Appointment and email it
back to me by 29 April 2022.
To introduce you to your new role, we plan to hold an induction day either in-person
or online on Tuesday, 17 May 2022 in Wellington. If you are not based in Wellington,
we will be in touch with you to organise travel if the day is in-person.
In the meantime, please feel free to contact Liz O’Connor on
