Update on the Independent Culture Review from the Acting Board Chair

Please see below a message from our Acting Board Chair, David Hunt
 
 
 
 
With June coming to an end, I thought it was timely to provide you with a brief update 
on the progress of the Independent Culture Review.
 
Thanks to strong engagement from kaimahi, interviews with our people have 
continued through into late June. These have now wrapped up, and the focus is about 
to shift to drawing on insights from those conversations – alongside the written 
feedback many of you provided – to shape the Culture Review Report. A huge thank 
you to everyone who contributed their thoughts as part of this process either in 
writing or through meeting with Pip Muir and/or Doug Craig who have been leading 
the process for the Board to date.
 
Having been engaged with us since March, Doug has advised that he will be stepping
down next week for health reasons and therefore Pip Muir of Simpson Grierson will
complete the review from this point.
 
We expect a draft of the report to be available late in July, with the final report to 
follow. We know that we'll need an organisation-wide response to findings from the 
review. We'll communicate more about what this might look like once the 
findings/recommendations become available.
