Thank you for your email of 16 July 2025 to NZ Police requesting the following information under the 
Official Information Act 1982 (the Act): 
 
Could I also receive crash data before and after 30 June, 2020. In the same areas, Papakura, 
Franklin Local Boards and on Hingaia Road, Karaka. 
 
As the information requested is more closely connected to the functions of NZ Transport Agency Waka 
Kotahi (NZTA), this part of your request was transferred to us on 20 July 2025 for response. I have 
enclosed Attachment 1: OIA-19005 containing the number of crashes as wel  as contributing factors of 
those crashes. 
 
Please note, the information contained in the attached spreadsheet should be read in conjunction with 
the caveats located on the first tab of the document. 
 
In line with NZTA policy, this response wil  soon be published on our website, with personal
