Thank you for your Of icial Information Act (OIA) request that was transferred in full to
the Treasury on 9 July 2025. You requested the following:
I noted, you have recently call for nomination for Appointments to the Reserve
Bank of New Zealand Board

May I ask how you called for public nomination and on what platform you have
call for public nominations e.g. govt.jobs website. A copy of your ad as well. Also,
how many applications you have received from the public and how many you
have received from other nominating agencies such as TPK or Ministry of women
etc for your role. How many you have shortlisted and how many you have
interviewed. Also, can I request to view the appointment letter if there is one sent
to the appointee. I am happy for you to remove all the personal information.
Also, may I request the job description for the appointed role and what's pay
rate?

An advertisement was posted on the Treasury Board Appointments website, LinkedIn,
Interest.co.nz, and the Community Governance NZ website. The position specification,
which was also used to advertise the position, is released in full – see item 2 in the
table below. This also includes details on the remuneration.
There were 56 applications from the public and no other nominations from nominating
agencies. Seven people were short-listed and interviewed.
A copy of the appointment letter is released in full (except contact details) – see item 1
in the table below.
