2. Total amount spent on repairs of appliances, by region;
Please find attached, as
Appendix One to this response, a table showing the total amount spent in
the last five years, broken down by appliance, and by region. Please note, these costs are
attributed to approximately 1300 appliances across the country.
3. Total amount spent per type 3 appliance, including registration;
Please find attached, as
Appendix two to this response, a table showing the total amount spent on
Type 3 appliances in the last five years, including the registration.
4. A separate document outlining any "major" repair expenses that are above $20,000 on
aerial appliances;
Please find attached, as
Appendix Three to this response, a table showing the cost of repairs over
$20,000 for aerial appliances. We wrote to you on 15 July asking you to clarify what you meant by
“major” repairs. As noted in our email of 15 July, these costs could be a single work item or many
smal items that were done together so the total cost was more than $20,000.
This difference is not apparent from the short invoice description that our system captures. To
provide more detailed information would require significant manual work to collate. It would
require us to open each invoice stored in PDF form, analyse it and capture the work description in
the invoice in a format suitable for reporting.
5.
Total amount appliances have been sold, or disposed of, identified by individual
registrations and region.
Please find attached, as
Appendix Four to this response, a table showing the total amount of
appliances that have been sold in the last five financial years, with the registration included.
Please find attached, as
Appendix Five to this response, a table showing the total number of
appliances that have been disposed of, including the registration and region. Please note, the
appliance region numbers provided in the disposals list reflect the following:
• Region 1 - Te Hiku
• Region 2 - Ngā Tai Ki Te Puku
• Region 3 - Te Ūpoko
• Region 4 - Te Ihu
• Region 5 - Te Kei.
A ful description of the areas included in each region can be found
here.
We trust that the information being provided is of assistance. If you require further information,
please email [FENZ request email]
Please note that because of the identified public interest in the information that you have
requested, we intend to publish this response (with your personal details removed) on our
website.
