Official Information Act Request – Professional Responsibility structure

Tēnā koe,

Thank you for your email dated 24 June 2025 requesting information as follows:

•  I would like to request a full organisational chart of the Teaching Council of Aotearoa NZ
including the professional standards and investigations teams. I do not require the names
of individual staff just titles.

•  I would also like to request the salary bands for the professional standards and
investigations roles including any managers or team leaders.

We have considered your request under the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) and can advise as
follows.

Attached with this response is a copy of the Teaching Council’s organisation chart.  The names of
kaimahi below executive level have been redacted under section 9(2)(a) of the Act to protect the privacy
of individuals.

The below table provides the salary bands for professional responsibility team members.  Due to the
small numbers of kaimahi in these roles, bands have been grouped together to protect the privacy of
individuals.  Positions have been provided in alphabetical order.
