Re: Cutty Grass track 
 
 
Thank you for your email of 13 June 2025, requesting information about the upgrade of the 
Cutty Grass track. The specific details of your request and our response are below. 
 
Dear Auckland Council,  how much money did Vector contribute to upgrading Cutty 
Grass track to Kauri Die Back dry foot standard? 
 
Vector did not contribute funding toward the initial upgrade of Cutty Grass Track.  
 
Presently Auckland Council are in conversation with them around remedial works following 
their recent use of the track to conduct power line maintenance. 
 
Related to that aspect, Vector are arranging contractors to conduct remediation at their cost 
and intend to arrange a meeting with Auckland Council following those works to ensure we 
are satisfied with the remediation. 
 
The decision by Auckland Council to release the information contained in this response was 
made by Taryn Crewe, General Manager - Parks and Community Facilities.
