REQUEST On 13 June 2025 you asked for communication regarding an annual rāhui for Mauao. Here is
our response to your questions:
1. Please provide me with any communications, reports, proposals etc from/to
staff, elected members and/or the Mauao Trust regarding any regular/annual
resting periods or rahui for Mauao
We have located one mention of an annual rāhui in a report from Mauao Trust at the
Ngā Poutiriao o Mauao on 16 October 2024. At this point there are no definitive plans
to hold a rāhui but it was proposed as a desire of the Trust. Please see figure 1 for
the excerpt of these minutes.
