- Jep reiterating importance of talking with TAU Pasifika & Sponsorship
team to mitigate risk. Ensuring due diligence is priority. Community level
sponsorships are also to be discussed.
- Lynn suggests having induction process and documentation to pass on
to future VCAs and for VCAs to abide by.
6. Operations Update
Jep & Allie (10 mins)
- Currently packing in, positioned in Western Springs this week
- Operational delays due to other festivals taking place at same time
- Speedway have a race on Saturday (rain day Sunday) and means we
cannot pack in on Sat/Sun.
- Outerfield to be built Monday
- Updated Site Map, now on site.
- VCAs to update TAU with fale programming:
- Fale Pasifika: coconut shaving & coconut milk
- Aotearoa Fale: printing
- Cook Island Fale: Carving
- Flagpoles going in on Monday
- Flags in stage boxes with programmers
- VCAs welcome to visit pack in; let TAU know if you want to arrange this.

- Encourage VCAs to wear their own entire at opening ceremony. All are
welcome to represent their village.
7. Programming Update

performers need to read, understand, agree to these.
- Activations at Manuaky & Britomart Train Station to promote Pasifika –
Wednesday 5th March
- Tshirts & parking passes will be arriving. Hosting a drop-in session weds
or thurs to collect.

8. Closing Statements

- Concern around protest activity at Pasifika Festival. Protest activity
placed near “old Tonga” on corner of festival site.
- Risk Management regarding critical events (weather, fruit fly etc): we
do not have a rain date, however, we work with critical incident teams to
come up with appropriate decision.
- Kat to share stallholder/packin information to be passed on to
performers
