Aotearoa Music Awards 
 
Thank you for your Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) request, received on 31 May 2025. 
Your request asked: 
 
“What disciplinary measures wil  you be imposing on Chris Bishop for his 
behaviour at the NZ Music Awards?” 
 
Hon Chris Bishop has publicly said he should have kept his thoughts to himself, and the 
Prime Minister is comfortable with that. 
 
For completeness, you have the right to ask the Ombudsman to investigate and review my 
decision under section 28(3) of the Act.
