Hi Anit and Luise,
 
We were advised about a moth ago by the Christchurch City Council of their priority
regarding projects.
 
What was clearly stated is that Parker St Level Crossing now has the lowest priority. They
are no longer planning on building the cycleway there anytime soon. They have said
potentially FY 2028.
 
I understand you have a TSR in place related to track maintenance issue that requires
works – we had discussed these works being carried out at the same time as the
installation of the pedestrian crossings.
There is a TSR in this area.
 
It looks like the timeline for the pedestrian crossing upgrades will be pushed out and is not
certain. Sowe can no longer rely on this project occuring.
 
You may want to have a discussion on the issue at Parker St in light of this timing
information.
