RE:  OIA 2015-16-12 OIA - Pacific 2015 (International Maritime Expo) 
 
Thank you for your email of 1 September 2015 received by New Zealand Trade and 
Enterprise (NZTE) concerning an Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) request. You requested 
the following information: 
 
  Will NZTE be at Pacific 2015 (International Maritime Exposition, 6-8 October in 
Sydney)? If so, what is the nature and extent of that involvement. If it is a trade stall, 
please indicate the companies that will be included on that stall. Please include 
number of NZTE staff that will be participants, as well as costs of trade stall, staff or 
participant travel and any other financial, technical, administrative or other support 
given to be involved in this conference. 
 
NZTE is providing assistance to six NZ companies and organisations (Naiad, StabiCraft, ENL 
Group, Gallagher Security, NZ Defence Industry Association, and the NZ Defence Force) that 
wil  be represented at a ‘trade stand’ during the Pacific 2015 expo.  The total cost of the ‘trade 
stand’ and expo space, which is shared by NZTE and all the exhibitors, is approximately 
$50,000. 
 
NZTE will be represented at the expo by one Sydney-based project manager, and NZTE’s 
involvement will also include business matching support for the NZ participants at the expo. 
 
This response fully covers the material you requested.  You have the right under section 28(3)
