Thank you for your request of 26 May 2025 to Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities under 
the Of icial Information Act 1982 (the Act) for the following information:  
 
1.  Al  emails and electronic messages between Tier Two Kāinga Ora managers and the 
General Manager, People, Governance, and Capability or her staff referencing 
potential or actual cost savings resulting from restructuring under Reset, Resize, 
Renew. 
 
2.  Al  reports, presentations, workshop materials, board papers and SLT papers 
referencing the difference between Tier Two scores from the 2024 Organisational 
Health Index Survey and the scores of the rest of the teams surveyed. 
 
The Act requires that we advise you of our decision on your request no later than 20 working 
days (25 June 2025) after the day we received your request. Unfortunately, it wil  not be 
possible to meet that time limit and we are therefore writing to notify you of an extension of 
the time to make our decision under section15A(1)(b) of the Act, to 23 July 2025 (20 working 
days). 
 
This extension is required as consultations necessary to decide on your request are such 
that a proper response cannot reasonably be made within the original time limit. 
 
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of this response.
