Appointment to the West Coast Community Trust 
I am pleased to advise that Cabinet I have appointed you as a trustee of the West Coast 
Community Trust (the Trust) under section 5 of the Community Trusts Act 1999 (the Act) and 
the terms of the Trust’s Deed. 
The Chair, John Wood, and Administrator, 9(2)(a)
 have been informed of your 
appointment. 
Term and remuneration  
Your appointment commences 20 January 2025 and ends on 31 May 2028. 
Under the authority of section 6 of the Act, you wil  continue in office until you are 
reappointed, or a successor is appointed. The Fund’s deed al ows for appointment for two 
terms with appointment for a third term only in exceptional circumstances. 
As a trustee your fee will be $2,640 (pro rata) per annum, travel and other reasonable 
expenses wil  be reimbursed. 
Resignation 
You may resign from office by written notice to me at any time, with a copy to the Chair, 
stating the date on which your resignation wil  be effective. 
Conflicts of Interest and political neutrality 
under the Official Information Act 1982
If at any stage during your term you feel you may have a conflict of interest through your 
personal or professional relationships, bring this promptly to the attention of the Chair and 
Chief Executive who wil  decide how to best manage the conflict. 
The trusts and trustees are political y neutral and make decisions based on the needs of their 
community. The Fund wil  provide advice on this and conflicts of interest as part of your 
induction.
