Refusal aspect of request
We do not hold figures for the “weighted averages” of salaries. Therefore, we refuse
this aspect of your request pursuant to section 18(e) of the Official Information Act as
the document alleged to contain the information requested does not exist.
We are also refusing your request for the salary bands for the Commissioner and
Deputy Commissioners. We contacted the Remuneration Authority, which sets these
salaries. We were advised that under their legislation salary bands are not produced.
Therefore, we refuse this aspect of your request pursuant to section 18(e) of the
Official Information Act as the document alleged to contain the information requested
does not exist.
You may seek a review of this decision from the Office of the Ombudsman.
