Thank you for your email of  21 May 2025 to the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment 
requesting, under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act), the following information: 
 
1.  The latest organisational chart of Immigration New Zealand. 
2.  A list of visa categories processed by each visa processing office. 
3.  Specific details on which Immigration Manager's team within each branch is responsible for 
which visa categories. 
 
Our Response 
 
Question 1: Please find in the attached Appendix A the Immigration New Zealand (INZ) organisational chart. 
 
Please note that, consistent with the Government’s Protective Security Requirements, we have withheld 
the names of staff below Tier 5 under section 6(a) of the Act where information would be likely to prejudice 
the security or defence of New Zealand or the international relations of the Government of New Zealand. 
MBIE takes its protective security responsibilities seriously, which includes protecting our people. 
 
In determining our approach to the threats our people face, we are guided by information on New Zealand's 
Security Threat Environment, which can be found on the fol owing page:

Question 2: Please find attached in Appendix B the most recent list of visa types processed by each 
branch. 
 
Question 3: Teams  are responsible for  processing  a variety of  visa categories and whilst some visa 
categories  are processed more regularly by different branches they fluctuate at different times 
depending on current demand. For example, during January when there is a higher demand for student 
visas the spread of those applications will be across multiple branches and teams.
