Thank you for your Official Information Act request received on 16 May 2025. You requested: 
 
…communications since 1 November 2024 from yourself or your office to The 
Treasury in relation to attendance of people at the December 2024 HYEFU 'lock-up' 
and next Thursday's Budget 'lock-up'. 
 
Note that 'communications' includes verbal messages, phone calls, and texts in 
addition to emails, briefings, and the like. 
 
I have decided under section 15A of the Official Information Act to extend the time limit for 
deciding on your request by an additional 20 working days. The new due date for responding 
to your request is 15 July 2025. 
 
The extension is required because of the consultations needed to make a decision on your 
request. 
 
This extension will also apply to the time limit for transferring your request, should this 
become relevant. 
 
Notwithstanding this extension, I undertake to make a decision on your request as soon as 
reasonably practicable. 
 
You have the right to ask the Ombudsman to investigate and review this decision.
