Parks Track Programme  
 
Thank you for your official information request which we received on 15 May. You asked – 
 
The May 2025 issue of Our Auckland under the heading Auckland Regional 
Parks track update notes that "the Governing Body wil  consider Auckland's 
Regional Parks track programme and associated funding in July 2025. 
Approval of the programme wil  enable council staff to undertake the work 
programme for 2025/26" 
 
I would like to see this work programme please. 
 
The draft Regional Capital Investment Programme was presented to the Parks Committee 
on 25th February 2025, details can be found here  - at Item 10. The final approval by the 
Community Commit ee is scheduled  in July and wil  be published on the  Agendas and 
Minutes website.  And so we are refusing your request under Section 17(d) of the LGOIMA 
because the information requested wil  soon be publicly available.  
 
The decision on behalf of Auckland Council to respond to your request as above was made 
by Taryn Crewe, General Manager Parks and Community Facilities.
