Thank you for your Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) request of 6 May 2025, in which 
you requested: 
I am requesting, in electronic form as an Excel spreadsheet or CSV file, the: 
subject lines 
and 
sent or received dates 
of al  emails sent to or from current Police Commissioner Richard Chambers 
that contain any of the following phrases in the text body or subject line (case 
insensitive): 
"Roger Chambers" 
"Mark Franklin" 
"gone fishing" 
"Stephen Stone" 
"Gail Maney" 
"Fuller-Sandys" 
"Leah Stephens" 
sent on or after: 
2024-02-09 
and on or before: 
2025-04-30 
Please find attached an Excel spreadsheet containing the subject lines and sent/received 
dates of emails identified as within scope of your request. Note some email subject lines 
have been withheld under section 9(2)(a) of the OIA, to protect the privacy of natural 
persons.  
No emails were identified that contain the phrases "Mark Franklin", "gone fishing", 
"Stephen Stone", "Fuller-Sandys" and "Leah Stephens". As such, this part of your request 
is refused under section 18(e) of the OIA, as the information requested does not exist. 
Police considers the interests requiring protection by withholding the information are not 
outweighed by any public interest in release of the information. 
Please note that as part of its commitment to openness and transparency, Police 
proactively releases some information and documents that may be of interest to the 
public. An anonymised version of this response may be publicly released on the New 
Zealand Police website.
