Thank you for your request under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) to the Ministry of
Health – Manatū Hauora (the Ministry) on 4 April 2025. You requested:
“I noted, you have recently call for nomination for member of Occupational Therapy Board
of New Zealand (OTBNZ), closed at 2 April 2025.
May I ask how you called for public nomination and on what platform you have call for
public nominations e.g. govt.jobs website. A copy of your ad as well. Also, how many
applications you have received from the public and how many you have received from
other nominating agencies such as TPK or Ministry of women etc for your role. How many
you have shortlisted and how many you have interviewed. Also, can I request to view the
appointment letter if there is one sent to the previous appointee.
The roles for the Board were publicly advertised between 19 March and 2 April 2025 on the
Ministry’s Career page and the New Zealand Government Jobs website. A copy of the
advertisement is attached.
The Ministry received 21 applications from members of the public. Nominations were sought
from a variety of nominating agencies, however no nominations were received.
As the advertisement has recently closed, here are currently no shortlisted candidates, and no
one has been interviewed or appointed.
