Subject: Proactive release of Ministerial diaries
Ministerial diaries are expected to be proactively released by Ministerial offices within 15
working days  of the end of each month.  CAB-18-MIN-0587-Minute.pdf (dia.govt.nz)
I note that a number of Ministers are receiving questions asking why their diary has not been
released or when the diary will be released.  The PM has also received a written question
asking :
“Does the Prime Minister expect ministers to release diary entries by month the ensuing
calendar month, if not what are his expectations, and which ministers are not meeting them?”. 
The proposed response is “Yes”.
It would be much appreciated if offices could prioritise the proactive release – we do not want to
have to respond to written questions about why individual ministers have not released their
diary.
