1. Details of all external consultants engaged by NZTE over the past three years to provide internal and team coaching including:

Name of the consulting entity or individual(s);
•
Nature and detailed scope of the services provided;
•
Duration of each consultancy engagement;
•
Total costs incurred per year for each consultant per annum.
2. Clarification on whether any external consultants have been engaged continuously or repeatedly (for more than six months), and if so, please
outline the reasons for these longer-term engagements and length of continuous engagement.
The table below contains details of all external consultants engaged by NZTE over the past three years that provided internal 1:1 and team coaching at NZTE.
It details to the best of our knowledge the consulting entity or individual(s), total spend based on invoices and/or contract information available, duration of
each consultancy engagement within the past three years, and nature of service provided including detail around the reason for engagement where these are
greater than six months.
In instances where a company that NZTE consulted with objected to the information being released because of its commercially sensitive nature or the
company has not made a response to consultation within the timeframe of this OIA request, we have withheld the information under section 9(2)(b)(ii) of the
Official Information Act - “the making available of that information would be likely to unreasonably prejudice the commercial position of the person who
supplied or who is subject of the information.” This information has been grouped together at the bottom of the table along with the total cost.

Details regarding the approval process and criteria NZTE uses to determine the necessity and value of engaging external coaching or personal
development consultants.
NZTE is committed to developing its people, all NZTE employees are expected to have a Personal Development Plan (PDP) with clear goals to grow their skills,
knowledge and mindsets to lift performance and deliver greater value to our customers. To support this commitment, each team has budget specifically for
development. It is up to NZTE People Leaders on how that budget is utilised for any individual development. For selecting the right coach, People Leaders
would speak to their People Business Partner for recommendations on suppliers and encourage the individual to have a free connection call with a
prospective coach to select the best fit. Preferred suppliers are typically recommended by another NZTE leader or coaching project team based on expertise,
capability and cost. Sessions would typically be capped between 3-6 sessions per individual.
