Thank you for your email of 20 March 2025 to New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE), 
making a request under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act). You requested the following 
information: 
 
I am writing to request information under the Official Information Act 1982 regarding coaching 
services provided internally to staff at New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE). 
 
Specifically, could you please provide: 
 
Details of all external consultants engaged by NZTE over the past three years to provide 
internal coaching, personal development, and team-building services, including: 
 
-- Name of the consulting entity or individual(s); 
 
-- Nature and detailed scope of services provided; 
 
-- Duration of each consultancy engagement; 
 
-- Total costs incurred per year for each consultant per annum. 
 
Clarification on whether any external consultants have been engaged continuously or 
repeatedly (for more than six months), and if so, please outline the reasons for these longer-
term engagements and length of continuous engagement. 
 
Details regarding the approval process and criteria NZTE uses to determine the necessity and 
value of engaging external coaching or personal development consultants. 
 
NZTE has interpreted your request to include 1:1 and team coaching specifically for the 
calendar years from 1 January 2022 to 20 March 2025. Note this excludes individual personal 
development activities as compiling this would involve substantial col ation, so NZTE is 
withholding this under section 18(f) of the Official Information Act.  
 
Answers to your questions are attached as Appendix One.
