Thank you for your email of 18 March 2025 to Te Kaunihera o Pōneke | Wellington City Council (the 
Council) requesting information regarding financial matters at the Council. Your request has been 
considered under the Local Government Of icial Information and Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA).

1.  Whilst the council looks to bury this city and further extort the ratepayer can you please 
provide the final quarter calendar year interest only total costs 
 
The net interest costs for the Council for quarter four the 2024 calendar year, or quarter two of the 
2024/25 financial year, is $16 mil ion.  
 
2.  Can you also provide the 
a.  Total applications made to the LGFA in 2024 
 
The Council made six successful applications for debt issuances to the Local Government Funding 
Agency (LGFA) in the 2024 calendar year.  
 
b.  Total amount of funds requested each time
