Thank you for your email of 8 March 2025 to the Reserve Bank of New Zealand – Te Pūtea Matua 
(RBNZ) requesting information under the Of icial Information Act 1982 (OIA), as fol ows:  
 
Under the Of icial Information Act 1982 I request copies of all advice and communications 
received by the RBNZ relating to the United States of America's Bitcoin Strategic Reserve 
established by Executive Order on 6 March 2024 as set out in the following URL.

RBNZ is not aware of any advice or communications received relating to the United States of 
America’s bitcoin strategic reserve. As such, we are refusing this request under 18(e) of the Of icial 
Information Act – the information does not exist or cannot be located. 
You have the right to seek an investigation and review of this decision by the Ombudsman.
