Thank you for your email on 3 March 2025, asking Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora for the 
fol owing under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act):  
I would like to review all complaints pertaining to racism between staff members within 
Health New Zealand Southern from December 2023 to present. In addition please send me 
evidence of investigation and outcomes of these complaints. 
Response 
Apologies for the time it has taken to get this response to you.  We can confirm that we have had 
no formal complaints of racism between staff members of Health NZ Southern for the period 
December 2023 to March 2025.  Complaints of such a nature would be raised formally with the 
Human Resources (HR) department and may require investigation based on the information 
provided.  We can however advise that according to our HR records, there have been no 
complaints of such a nature during this period. 
We therefore refuse your request under section 18(e) as this information does not exist.
