Thank you for your request of 4 March 2025 requesting:
Not including members of Commissioner or Deputy Group, how many
individuals of the Operations Leadership Group identify as non NZ European
ethnic minority.
What are the qualifications and educational backgrounds of these individuals.
What skills and experience do these individuals have to have equipped them to
be appropriate and suited to be on the Operations Leadership Group.
How is the leadership of these individuals measured and reported?
What are the core or key leadership functions and responsibilities of these
individuals in the Operations Department.
We have considered your request under the Official Information Act 1982. Please find
enclosed the information requested.
For the avoidance of doubt, the below information pertains to the leadership roles
within the Operations team, excluding the Deputy Commissioner. This includes one
Manager of Early Resolution Assessment, one Manager of Complex Resolution and
Investigation, three Complaints Assessment Team Leaders, and three Investigations
Team Leaders. One of the Investigations Team Leader roles is currently vacant.
How many individuals identify as ‘non-NZ European ethnic minority’?
Of the seven currently filled positions, one person has not identified themselves as
Pakeha/NZ European.
What are the qualifications and educational backgrounds of these individuals?
Because the information pertains to a small number of individuals, release of their
personal qualifications and educational backgrounds would interfere with the privacy
