Thank you for your follow email dated 8 July 2025 to Te Kaunihera o Pōneke | Wellington 
City Council (the Council) reques ng the following informa on: 
 
  WCC policy to condone acƟviƟes (in this case slander) by non-acƟon, or only censure 
acƟviƟes that are commiƩed by employees? 
 
The Code of Conduct applies to all Council staff and contractors. It outlines what is expected 
of employees and contractors, and is the link between our values, policies, guidelines, and 
procedures. The Council inves gates reports of actual or suspected breaches of the Code 
promptly, fairly, and in accordance with its legal obliga ons. 
 
Please note that the Council is only able to inves gate or comment on the conduct of 
individuals ac ng in an official capacity on behalf of the Council. Mr Tim Park was not 
a ending the mee ng in May 2025 as a Council representa ve. 
 
Any concerns regarding a trustee of WNHT should be directed to the Trust, as the Council is 
not able to comment on or intervene in ma ers rela ng to their personnel.
