Information Act 1982 (the Act): 
1. Number of Personnel Involved: 
 
How many people within Health New Zealand and associated entities are involved in 
conducting cultural audits, such as the one mentioned in the He Ritenga report, which 
assesses alignment with Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles and commitments to improving 
Māori health outcomes? 
 
2. Associated Costs: 
 
What is the total cost associated with conducting these cultural audits, including personnel, 
operational, and reporting expenses? 
 
3. Health Outcome Improvements: 
 
Is there any documented evidence or evaluation on the impact of these audits on the health 
outcomes of all New Zealanders? If so, please provide copies of relevant reports or 
summaries of findings.

We have consulted with a number of business units across the organisation and were unable to 
locate any information within the scope of your request.  
Your request for this information is refused under section 18(e) of the Act as this information does 
not exist or, despite reasonable efforts to locate it, cannot be found. 
The He Ritenga report is a Ministry of Health document, so you may wish to contact their 
organisation for information related to the report. The report is publicly available on the Ministry of
