Thank you for your request of 21 February 2025 to Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities 
under the Of icial Information Act 1982 (the Act) for the following information:  
  1.  The full results of the OHI survey 
2.  A copy of any Board or ELT papers that mention the OHI 
3.  Any advice sent to ministers about the OHI 
4.  How much was spent on external companies or consultants to conduct the OHI 
 
The Act requires that we advise you of our decision on your request no later than 20 working 
days (21 March 2025) after the day we received your request. Unfortunately, it wil  not be 
possible to meet that time limit and we are therefore writing to notify you of an extension of 
the time to make our decision under section15A(1)(b) of the Act, to 4 April 2025 (10 working 
days). 
 
This extension is required as consultations necessary to decide on your request are such 
that a proper response cannot reasonably be made within the original time limit. 
 
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of this response.
