We refer to your Official Information Act (1982) request of 12 February 2025 for:

“[Relating  to  appointment  of  Officers  of  the  Government  to  the  Ross 
Dependency] I noted you said there is a warrant of appointment signed by GG. 
May I request to view the copy of the warrant for these 4 appointed individuals.  
2. 
Also, you talked about a sworn in process by MoJ, can you please explain how 
this been done, is there a ceremony?” 
 
This email is to advise we have transferred the following part of your request to the Ministry 
of  Justice  for  response  as  the  requested  information  is  believed  to  be  more  closely 
connected with the functions of the Ministry of Justice (section 14(b)(ii) of the OIA refers):

Dependency]  Also,  you  talked  about  a  sworn  in  process  by  MoJ,  can  you

This office has extended the deadline to respond to your request under section 15A(1)(b) 
of the OIA by 10 working days to accommodate this transfer.
