Please confirm if and when: 
1. South Island Resource Recovery Limited (SIRRL) has made a substantive application for 
approval under the Fast-track Approvals Act 2024 
2. They have paid the appropriate fees to cover a substantive application. 
The Environmental Protection Authority has not received a substantive application for approval 
under the Fast-track Approvals Act 2024 from South Island Resource Recovery Limited. Fees are 
not paid until a substantive application has been made, therefore no fee has been paid.
