Actions: 
Hazardous waste section 
Sue to add some points to hazardous waste section 
David to add to points on hazardous waste that is treated and waste that can’t be treated that must be 
contain (process is regulated but needs more controls). Then other waste that is hazardous e.g. 
domestic that ends of in landfil s untreated. Bulk materials that have accumulated impact differ 
depending on controls lined and self-contained/unlined historical landfill. 
Complex diverse issue that covers multiple waste/sites worth noting we don’t have the resources. Could 
refer to the landfill or contaminated sector group at Waste MINZ. 
Significant gaps and unknowns that need to be highlighted with funds being moved from the waste 
sector into other areas. 
Gael to send comments to Sue to add, then David wil  add his comments on key areas of consideration.
